About Us
Our work starts at a hospital and ends at a playground.
We give you the knowledge, tools and exposure to improve paediatric patient outcomes through nutrition.
We’ve been working with children since 2013, first at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and now at close to 35 hospitals across the country. With the help of generous and visionary doctors, we built a nutrition care process for children fighting cancer which we’ve used to treat several thousands of children for the last many years.
CICN is the knowledge and training arm of Cuddles Foundation.
Why we started CICN
As we started moving from the cities to the smaller towns, we realised there was a gap in nutrition education that’s rooted in classroom learning and one that’s actually needed on the front lines.
And so, we wanted to share that knowledge with you, so you have all the information you need to save our tiny humans - whether you’re a medical doctor or studying to be one, or a practicing nutritionist.

Dr Sripriya Venkiteswaran
Content Consultant, CICN
With a two-decade-long experience in nutrition and a Doctorate in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University, USA, Dr Sripriya’s core strength is her in-depth knowledge of nutrition at the physiological, molecular and genome level.
She has a diverse work background, including cancer research, molecular biology, hospital nutrition, drug discovery, nutrition counselling, education and nutritional marketing. At CICN, Dr Sripriya ensures we're creating courses and content that’s relevant, accurate and actionable.
Nikita Mahakal
Head Nutritionist, Cuddles Foundation
Nikita holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and is a Registered Dietician. Armed with a Fellowship in Paediatric Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, Nikita has been working in clinical nutrition for the last eight years.
As Head Nutritionist at Cuddles Foundation, she oversees diet counselling and aid delivery for all our partner hospitals and keeps a hawk’s eye on program operations. At CICN, she is responsible for bringing her vast, practical experience in paediatric nutrition into our training programs.
